Blitman Development Corp (BDC) has been building high quality homes for the past 25 years throughout New York State,
and takes pride in making these outstanding homes available at reasonable prices. This value is made possible by long-standing
relationships with the most proven quality building professionals available. Our association with these tradesmen has spanned
several decades and more than a thousand homes, ensuring that all of our homes consistently reflect the highest building standards.
From exterior designs artfully married to their natural settings to interior floor plans mirroring their owners’ lifestyles, BDC selects materials to the most exacting construction standards. Over the years we’ve designed and built over 1,000 homes, all with the
attention to detail that has helped establish BDC as one of New York State’s leading home builders.
Building on our belief that preserving the environment is integral to creating a new community, all of our homes are designed to
work in harmony with their natural surroundings. This instills a neighborhood pride shared by every homeowner.
Some of our most recently completed communities include: The Preserve at Rye, featuring 38 ultra luxury homes in Rye, NY; The
Preserve at Somers, a 188-home conservation community in Somers, NY; Montville Chase, a 317-unit townhouse community
in Montville, NJ; Reed Farm a 258-unit townhouse community in Brewster, NY; and Timberline Estates in Putnam Valley,
NY. We also have ongoing communities in Beacon, Fishkill, Malta and Mahopac, New York. In addition to these BDC has two
communities in Cortland, NY and City Island in NYC with imminent starting dates.
The founder and still active leader of BDC, Howard N. Blitman, is an award-winning professional engineer who recently held
the esteemed position of President of the National Society of Professional Engineers. Mr. Blitman is a graduate of Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute and currently serves as a trustee of RPI.
